Okay, I know, you think of the scale and you sigh. You look at the measuring tape and you roll your eyes. These are two very important pieces of equipment on your journey to fitness.

Weigh yourself first thing in the morning.
Only measure these 3 areas: chest, waist hips. If you are losing it in those three areas, you are losing it everywhere else.

If you don’t have a tape measure, use a pair of pants that you are having a hard time getting into. Make those you first pair of goal pants.

Dig around in the closet and pull out a pair of pants and a shirt or t-shirt that you want to get into. Make it an article of clothing that is just a bit too small and one that you wouldn’t wear it in public right now. Put it out where you can see it. No big deal. Just a visual of where you want to be.

How long do you think it will take to get back into those clothes and wear them comfortably? Give yourself 3 weeks!

If you are serious about getting healthy you can set a goal of 3 weeks. That is only 21 days.
