Let’s start with the apple!

95 calories in a 3″ diameter apple.

Let’s keep it simple and say our snacks should be between 100 – 200 calories depending on your daily caloric intake.

Let’s pair the apple with something else:

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 6 oz container of Greek yogurt
  • 1 stick of string cheese
  • 1 oz of cheddar cheese
  • 12 almonds

It doesn’t get any easier than that. Those pairings are so much better than a bag of junk you can get out of the vending machine.
