This week has been “back-to-school” week for most families in the US. This week is full of anxiety, stress, worry, hope, excitement, rushing here and there, scheduling changes, etc. Whew!

Let’s relax this weekend and let the anxiety of this week melt off.

Ideas to enjoy on Relaxation Weekend:

  • A relaxing family breakfast with all the favorite foods
  • If you have young children, read a silly story that will have them laughing
  • Play very relaxing music in the background will doing things in the house
  • On Saturday, get the calendar for the next week in order and up-to-date
  • On Sunday, have everything for Monday gathered together so the new week begins peacefully
  • Do nothing today
  • Go to a Spa
  • Go fishing
  • Play a round of golf(caution: not always relaxing)
  • Lounge around in a hammock
  • Take a bubble bath
  • Spend the day at the beach
  • Go to the movies
  • Do a little gardening (no heavy duty work, though)
  • Have a picnic in the park
