Good day everyone! I hope all is well with you and that you had wonderful Christmas. Was it stress-free? Mine was completely stress-free and I just relaxed all day. My prime rib was excellent.
How many of you are looking forward to the new year? Do you have and changes that you are going to be making in your life to keep you healthier, happier and more active? I do! I’m so looking forward to sharing them with you over the next year.
Here is my one resolution:
Resolution One: I will live for God. Resolution Two: If no one else does, I still will. – Jonathan Edwards
I heard this quote this week and it is still resonating with me:
Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.
– Einstein I want to be a woman of value, the success will come later. One of the ways I can become valuable is by learning. I love this quote from Andy Andrews:
I am a teacher and the reason I’m a teacher is because I’m learning as hard as I can. I’m not any different from anybody else. I am searching and having some success finding answers.
I want to share with you one of my most favorite books, called “The Traveler’s Gift”, by Andy Andrews. This is an amazing book about the seven secrets to success and one man’s journey learning about them through famous people in history. This is a must read. I read this book four times last year and I’m getting ready to read it again to get me focused and fired up for new success in the coming year.
