I know I feel so much better when I don’t eat sugar. The biggest thing I notice is my energy level completely goes up. I also know that eating homemade meals and not prepackaged foods are a huge part of it. All the sugar and extra ingredients in the prepackaged foods are hurtful to my health.

I’m on day number 2 without sugar. I have a lot more energy and I don’t have to go to bed as early as usual. I’m usually asleep between 8:30 and 9:00 pm because I am up at 3:30 or 4:00 am.

I’m not craving anything sweet today. It has been a pretty easy day so far, but it is only 4:00 pm. This is when the gremlins come out and tempt me to eat things that I shouldn’t.  I find the best defense is Greek yogurt and frozen blueberries with flax seed.
