4 Tips to a Better You
1. Skip the snooze. When the alarm goes off the first time, don’t hit the snooze button. Get up and get moving! Don’t postpone the inevitable! Get up, get dressed and have a quick healthy breakfast to get you going.
2. Set measurable goals. See the big picture, but then break everything down into small achievable steps. Just like with losing weight, if you have 50 pounds to lose, make that the big goal but start working at it 5 pounds at a time. You will achieve more and see progress if you have small goals along the way.
3. Get organized. Organize everything! Closets, cabinets, calendar, meals, exercise, and fun. If you plan everything out then you can work your plan and get everything done each day that needs to be accomplished. If you pantry is organized then you know what foods you have on hand and will be better a buy groceries.
Organize your meals for the week. Make them ahead of time and then you won’t be tempted to stop at a restaurant or the grocery store to buy something quick.
4. Become an expert. You can become good at a new hobby or interest by immersing yourself in it. You can learn just about anything in 20 hours.
