Today I’m getting back on the wagon!
If you have been following my blog you know that I lost 80 pounds a few years back. Well, like most people some of that weight has started to creep back. Yuk!!!!
So, I went back to Weight Watchers (online only). I know this plan works and I can only eat so much stir-fry chicken and broccoli. I need some more variety than what I have been giving myself.
So, I’m cutting out the sugar and the crap and going to eat those healthy well balanced meals. This time I’m not going to worry about the exercise as much.
When I lost the 80 pounds I would go to work and then coming home and work out for 2 hours a day. Don’t get me wrong, I loved those workouts. Now I’m in my fifties and I really don’t want to workout 2 hours a day. I’m definitely not a couch potato! If I’m not up and moving then I feel like time is being wasted.
Yesterday, I went for a hike with my husband up to one of our favorite lakes. We hiked for two hours. We both said, “We really need to be doing this more often!” So, true.
Here’s what’s on the menu today:
1 cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt, 1/2 cup blueberries, 3 Tbsp granola
1 cup Progresso Light Chicken Noodle Soup
Turkey burger, sandwich thin, mustard, lettuce and tomato
Alexis sweet potato fries
Grilled Chicken and Broccoli
If I get hungry again I’ll eat another cup of soup.

Just a thought: Isn’t it funny that we fall off the wagon, find ourselves in a boat and then get back on the wagon again? Just, saying.
