I’m the big 52 this year!

Week number one was a success! I feel like I am on my way to living healthy with no sugar in my diet.

Yesterday  (day 8) was a muscle burner as far as working out goes. I got in my 5 mile walk and lifted a lot of weight.

Today (day 9) is going to be very similar as far as working out and eating goes.

I am going to have to cut back on the nuts. That is now going to get in my way because I can’t stop eating them. So, I’ll take a break from them and look for new delicious foods to add to my menu.

I have started adding the cauliflower “rice” to my stir-fry. If I let the “rice” get toasted a little bit, it really adds a nutty flavor to the whole dish. Very satisfying!

I can eat the same meals every day and not tire of them. Yesterday and today’s menus look like this:

  • Breakfast: Stir-fry
  • Lunch: Stir-fry
  • Dinner: Yam and turkey sausage
